The 9th Annual Earth Gathering Festival, is a free event promoting Earth-friendly art, music, food, products and ideas will be held on the lawn of the Pump House Center for the Arts, Enderlin Circle, Yoctangee Park, Chillicothe. This festival was designed to entertain, educate and enlighten the community and bring people together in celebration of a healthier, more peaceful planet. This event is still being planned so be sure to check out the web site for future information.

Portrait - A portrait is an artistic representative of a person, animal or group (of) in which the face/body and its expressions are predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the subject.
The Pump House Center For the Arts Portrait Spectrums Competilion will be ready for viewing May 20th - June 22nd located on Enderlin Circle, Yoclongee Pork Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.

What is a Paint Out? (Plein Air)
En Plein Air is French expression which means " in the open air" and is particularly used to describe painting outdoors.
For the Artist: You are invited to paint "in the open air" at any of the suggested locations or a location of your choice in Chillicothe and/or Ross County. Upon completion of your work, you are invited to display your plein air work(s) during a formal exhibit from June 24 - July 20, 2008 at the Pump House Center for he Arts. Registration is required. You may also submit other Plein Air paintings for exhibit. No studio work please.
For the Public: You are invited to observe artists at work June 17 - June 24, 2008 at locations throughout Chillicothe and Ross County. Daily artist schedules and locations will be available by calling The Pump House Center for the Arts 740-772-5783 or visit www.pumparlgallery.com.
